Surveillance
is an investigative technique that involves covert
observations, in order to document the activities
of an individual's lifestyle. Surveillance is
usually requested by a client based on something
specific such as a physicians report, red flags,
or an anonymous tip. Surveillance is also
conducted in conjunction with insurance claims in
order to determine whether an individual is truly
injured, or is in fact falsifying his claim.
Sometimes
in negotiations, in an attempt to settle an
insurance claim, the demand is excessive or
unrealistic. Surveillance can be conducted to
obtain video-taped results of claimants engaging
in recreational activities inconsistent with their
claimed injury. We may find the individual working
"under the table" to circumvent the
purported injury. This can greatly reduce the
demand and help speed up the settlement process.
Our
surveillance teams are equipped with state of the
art, high-resolution video camcorders, low light
camcorders, and hidden cameras. We utilize hidden
cameras in place of a regular camcorder to obtain
video photography in places such as bars,
restaurants, bowling alleys, grocery stores,
health clubs, and office buildings. Video
photography obtained during surveillance is always
focused on the subject. The subject is
identifiable and the shot is always clear and
steady. No matter the locale, we have the
experience and equipment required to obtain video
and photographic evidence.
We
also have the latest in hi-tech equipment which
allows a color video print to be made from our
surveillance video. This color video print will
provide the client with a clear, identifiable,
current picture of the subject, and will be
included with our detailed report.
